Online therapy in Texas

Texas is big. The distance between you and the right therapist shouldn't decide whether you get one. I see clients by secure video across the whole state, from Houston and Dallas to San Antonio, El Paso, and every small town between.

Why my Texas practice is online

I'm based in Austin and licensed to practice psychology with clients anywhere in Texas. Working by video means your options aren't limited to whoever happens to have an office within twenty minutes of you, and the fit of the relationship can come first, which is what actually predicts whether therapy works.

It also means therapy fits inside real Texan logistics: a lunch break at work, a parked car with good signal, the hour after the kids are down. No waiting rooms, no traffic on I-35.

Who I work with
Adults, often high achievers, working on people-pleasing, perfectionism, and codependent patterns.
How sessions run
Weekly, fifty minutes, by secure video. Depth work, somatic practice, and mindfulness all included, not watered down.
The one rule
You need to be physically in Texas during our sessions, because licensure is state by state. Split time with California? I'm licensed there too.
Getting started
A free 15-minute phone consultation to see whether we fit, before anything else.

A note on fit

Choose a therapist the way you'd choose anyone important.

Credentials matter, but the research is consistent: the relationship does the heavy lifting. The first session is as much your assessment of me as mine of you, and I'll tell you honestly if I think someone else would serve you better.

I keep a selective caseload so every client gets focused attention, and I currently have availability for new Texas clients.
