A psychologist in Austin, seeing clients online

I'm Bella Weininger, a licensed psychologist based here in Austin. My practice is fully telehealth, so sessions happen over secure video whether you're in Hyde Park, South Congress, Round Rock, or anywhere else in Texas.

Austin runs on ambition. So do its particular struggles.

A lot of my Austin clients are doing objectively well: careers in tech, startups, healthcare, music, the university. And underneath, the same patterns keep surfacing. Saying yes to everything and resenting it quietly. A bar that moves every time they reach it. Burnout that a three-day weekend doesn't touch.

Those are my specialties: people-pleasing, perfectionism, and codependent relationship patterns, with mindfulness and somatic work woven through evidence-based care.

Why online, even in the same city?

Because it works, and because it removes the excuses that keep busy people from starting. No crossing town at 5 PM, no waiting room, no rearranging your day around one appointment. Fifty focused minutes from your home, your office, or your parked car with the AC on.

Video sessions also mean nothing changes when your life moves: a new job across town, a move to Dallas, a summer somewhere else in Texas. The work continues uninterrupted.

Starting is simple

A free 15-minute call, then we both decide.

Send a note through the contact page with a little about what's bringing you to therapy. I'll reply within two business days to set up a consultation call. No pressure and no obligation; fit matters most, and you'll know quickly whether it's there.

I maintain a selective caseload to keep the work focused, and I currently have availability for new Austin and Texas clients.
